Honda Motorcycle & Scooter is going to close the sale of its popular bike Honda CBR 250R from this April. According to the information, the company will not upgrade this bike based on BS6 standards.
Due to this, booking of CBR 250R is not being taken at Honda dealership. However, some stock of this bike is still present at some dealerships in the country. To eliminate this stock, some discount offers are also being offered at the dealership.
Let us tell you that the CBR 250R was launched in the Indian market in the year 2012. When this bike was launched in the market, only the Kawasaki Ninja 250R was present in the 250cc segment.
There was no change in this bike for many years. This bike uses a 249 cc single-cylinder engine, which provides 26 Bhp of power and 22.9 Newton meter of torque.
The company has given a 6-speed gearbox in this bike. Telescopic suspension has been given in the front of this bike, while mono shock has been used in the rear. It has disc brakes on both the front and back.
Let me tell you that this bike has been discontinued earlier in the year 2017, when it was not upgraded to BS3 standards. But in the year 2018, this bike was re-launched with BS4 standards.
This time this bike was launched with BS4 update as well as new graphics, new color paint and LED headlamps. After launch, this bike was very much liked by the people again.
The CBR 250R ruled the hearts of people for many years, but later the company launched its updated and larger engine version CBR 300R with 286 cc engine in the market.
Apart from this, the company also gave the option of a naked bike with the same engine and launched the Honda CB300R. Let us know that Honda CBR 250RR with twin cylinder is still being sold in South East Asian market.
