Star Trek: Discovery is an American television show produced by CBS Television Studios. The series’ third season is set to release. The of original content in CBS All Access, Julie McNamara, said in a statement:

Who Be Will in the Star Trek: Discovery Season 3?
The actors we saw in season two would probably return to reprise their roles. Sonequa Martin-Green, Ronnie Rowe, Anthony Rapp, Mary Wiseman, Rachael Ancheril, Sara Mitich, Emily Coutts, Doug Jones, Michelle Yeoh, Wilson Cruz, David Ajala and Adil Hussain. There are also some additions to the cast, including Christoper Pike and Spock’s characters.
The series’ showrunners are Michelle Paradise and Alex Kurtzman. The filming for the series wrapped in February 2020 and started in July 2019. Hence, the entire season can drop.
What Will Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 Entail?
Season two’s finale saw a jump into the future to detect new reasons and detach from the previous show. USS Discovery’s crew travels 900 years to permit them to explore time for the franchise.
Kurtzman, in the San Diego Comic-Con on July 21, commented:
“We made a pretty radical leap into the future at the end of season two — we are going almost 1000 years into the future in season three (950 to be precise), which can be crazy. Further, than any Trek series has gone before.”
Among the first fan, theories are the return of Pike. From the original Star Trek Series, Pike ends up residing on. It seems that Pike is set to reunite in Season three of this series. There is another speculation that the Doctor from Voyager might come aboard in Season 3. CBS has reached out to Robert Picardo to reprise his role in the physician.
