Volkswagen has established the brand new T-Roc, its next SUV in 2020, priced at Rs 19.99 lakh (launching, ex-showroom, pan-India). The T-Roc sits under the Tiguan Allspace but will sit above the Approaching. As with the Tiguan Allspace, the T-Roc has been attracted to India under the 2,500 automobiles import principle. Deliveries for the Volkswagen T-Roc will begin in 2020.
Showcased at Auto Expo 2020 in February, the T-Roc looks distinctive with large wheel arches, its wide shoulders, sloping rear windscreen, and LED components that sit under the headlamps. VW provides five color options – Ravenna Blue, Energetic Orange, Indium Grey, Curcuma Yellow and Pure White, all with a roof. The T-Roc is available in a Deep Black Pearl exterior end.
The cottage is in line with other VW models using its conventional dashboard layout but uses folds to liven up the cottage. The 445-liter boot is more than adequate compared to competitions.
Offered in the T-Roc, Volkswagen has packed in a bit of equipment in a trim. The kit includes an 8.0-inch touchscreen (which is Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatible), full-LED headlamps along with tail-lamps, dual-tone alloy wheels, front and rear parking sensors, a digital instrument cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof and ‘Vienna’ leather seats.
Standard safety kit includes six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, a tyre pressure monitoring system and a parking camera.
The T-Roc can be obtained with one engine option a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol TSI engine great for 150hp and 250Nm of torque. The unit includes technology that is cylinder-deactivation and is paired with a 7-speed DSG gearbox as standard.
