2021 In June, Toyota Harrier announced his debut

And we got the first confirmed photos thereof.

The Toyota Harrier’s latest redesign dates back to 2014. It’s been six years since the SUV got a facelift that means a new model is imminent. So, the Japanese company has just announced it will launch the 2021 Harrier for the local market in June this year.

Essentially a rebadged and mildly updated version of the third-gen Lexus RX. When it comes to the powertrain, the new Harrier will be available with 2 versions. There is a hybrid configuration. This uses a 2.5-liter inline-four direct-injection engine powered by either one or two electric motors depending on the setup.

Features:

The FWD version has a peak output of 218 horsepower (160 kilowatts), while at 222 hp (163 kW). The AWD variant is a little more powerful. The combustion engine control enters the wheels by a continuously variable electrical transmission.

They’re also a traditional gasoline-fired variant, fired by a 2.0-liter engine with a maximum output of 171 hp (126 kW) at 6600 pm and 153 pound-feet (207 Newton-meters) at 4800 pm. The four-cylinder engine mated to a CVT gearbox.

With the direct shift. The front-wheel-drive. And all-wheel-drive configurations will be available for both the hybrid and the standard gas-powered models.

The new Harrier will also feature a range of security and support systems. So, including the technology family Safety Sense from Toyota. It involves a pre-collision protection network that detects pedestrians during the daytime and at night. And so bicycles during the daytime. Toyota also proudly lists the 2021 Harrier as the first vehicle for the company to feature a composite cabin mirror.

The automaker plans to announce the new SUV “around June 2020” in Japan, where it will go on sale with a range of seven outside colors. 19-inch wheels are expected to come as standard.

Based on the model it uses a 2.5-liter inline-four direct-injection engine powered by either one or two electric motors. The FWD version has a peak output of 218 horsepower (160 kilowatts), while the 222 hp (163 kW) AWD variant is marginally more powerful.
