The episodes are standalone. They handle the dark side of human and technical nature. The first season of Black Mirror aired in 2011 on Channel Four. The first and second seasons continued appearing on precisely the same network.
But from the season ahead, the series was purchased by Netflix. Black Mirror became popular with international audiences once it seemed Netflix. It’s released far along with an interactive film, Bandersnatch.

There has not been any official announcement of year six from Charlie Brooker or Netflix as of yet. In a meeting, Brooker discussed Black Mirror’s future.
He commented, “At the moment, I don’t know what stomach there could be for stories about societies falling apart, so I am not working out on a few of these.
I am sort of keen to revisit my comic ability set, so I have been writing scripts aimed at making myself laugh.”
Oh no. The announcement of Brooker makes the chance of another season. The fifth season of the series was not well-received despite its star cast, and that might have been one reason behind Brooker’s statement.
Yet we can comfort ourselves with the fact that there hasn’t been any announcement of the show getting canceled. So there is hope. It is going to get delayed as a result of the current situation that is pandemic even if the series gets revived.
