The concept is going to be a fully electric vehicle with vertical takeoff and landing vehicle. The predictions coming up from the Porsche forecasts the market of urban air mobility to get an increase with a good speed after 2025.
The need and Potential!!!
Porsche has been eyeing upon a segment apace in the premium mobility segment. And for this, it is looking to enhance its position with the name of sports car manufacture. The announcement of the partnership took place between Porsche and Boeing and Boeing subsidiary Aurora science flight Sciences And it aims to address a crucial potential market segment. According to the terms of organization, the companies will create an international team to discuss various aspects of urban air mobility. It will also include an analysis of the market potential for premium vehicles and possible use cases. Boeing, Porsche and Boeing subsidiary Aurora Flight Sciences also looking out for the concept of an electric fully vertical take-off and a vertical landing. Engineers from both the companies will be introducing their prototypes and test the thing.
It was earlier during the 2018 study done by the Porsche Consulting that suggests that the urban air mobility market will pick up speed after 2025. The study also includes the results stating that urban air solutions will transport passengers more quickly and efficiently than current conventional means of terrestrial transport. And will provide the same at a lower cost and with greater flexibility.
What we can Expect!!!
So, we can expect a flying car in the atmosphere sooner than expected. And it will be none other than from the Porsche. Though, we cannot expect much here as it is only a concept until now and not a production version yet. And, although there’s a lot of o work to be done.
