Castlevania can easily be classified into one of the very popular anime tv series on the market, which includes a broad following among diverse age classes. The story and complex details in the show have earned the show critical acclamation and equally appealed to its audience.
The show takes its inspiration from a Japanese video game series with an identical title by Konami. Though originally intended as a film, the series doesn’t disappoint with its portrayal and its huge fan base over the years attests its brilliance.

The show was renewed for a fourth installment on March 27, 2020, just a few weeks after the next season aired on Netflix. However, a release date is still not known.
Sources also report there is a possibility of year 5, but we are going to have to wait for an official announcement from Netflix.
The first two seasons have been a version of the 1989 video game known as Castlevania III: Dracula’s’s Curse whereas the other two seasons carry up characters and elements from the 2005 match Castlevania: Curse of Darkness.
Judging by the events in the third season of Castlevania, speculations can be made about which characters will make an appearance in the fourth season since the cast hasn’t been officially announced.

By the end of season 3, Taki and Sumi attempt to seduce Alucard and kill him but Alucard overpowers them and slits their throats. This betrayal will probably change Alucard, and we are going to see the results in the upcoming season.
