It was only a matter of time’ Cobra Kai’. The surprise was that has been taken to declare that hit will be back on YouTube Premium. The service announced the 30-minute series will be back in September 2020 and here’s the best part – no subscription required to get the show.
The streaming service announced Thursday the half-hour martial arts dramedy will be back for a third season in 2020. Here’s what we know about season 3 so far.
Cobra Kai Season 3 Release date:
Johnny Lawrence will be back. The series is currently slated for a September 2020 release.
Cobra Kai Season 3 Plot:
It looks like the story will pick up from where it left. A distraught Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) leaves the dojo and from the looks of it, the Valley as well. Season 2 ends quite badly for the majority of the characters except for Kreese (Martin Kove). The’bad sensei’ gains control of the Cobra Kai dojo, while Miguel (Xolo Mariduena) after his brawl with Robby (Tanner Buchanan) is revealed to be in a critical stage. Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Samantha (Mary Mouser), his daughter, contemplate the future of this Miyagi- Do Karate.
While that potentially is the last couple of minutes Cobra Kai: Season 2,’ it does leave questions. To start, what’s going to become of Miguel? Will he recover? If he does, will it pave the way? The next question is on Sam and Tory (Peyton List). Can these events bring both together which makes them bury the hatchet?
Just like the debut of John Kreese at the end of the season, we see that the return of Ali Mills (Elizabeth Shue) who had been Johnny’s ex-girlfriend before sharing a romantic relationship with Daniel at the Karate Kid’ (1984). Will her existence cause more trouble for Johnny or Daniel?
Cobra Kai Season 3 Cast:
Unless the creators feel that they need to change things somewhat, which can be unlikely up most of the characters will probably be back in the upcoming season. Ralph Macchio and William Zabka will probably be back as Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso, the primary protagonists while Sam, Tory, Miguel, and Robby played Peyton List, by Xolo Mariduena, Mary Mouser, and Tanner Buchanan is slated to return as well.
Courtney Henggeler will portray Daniel’s wife, Amanda. John Kreese (Martin Kove) and Ali Mills Schwarber (Elizabeth Shue) too will be back following her debut in the fag end of this next year.

John Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald will helm the third season.
