Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaibo is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotōge. It follows a young boy, Tanjiro Kamado, that becomes a demon slayer after his family is slaughtered, and his younger sister. This manga was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020, and its chapters are gathered in 20 volumes as of May 2020. It’s printed in English by VizMedia and sim released by Shueisha in English and Spanish on their Manga Plus platform.
The director of the TV show is Haruo Sotozaki. Adult Swim from Cartoon Network airs in the community the series. The show first aired in Japan on April 6, 2019.
