With the Demon Slayer movie continuing to break records, fans are desperate to know what date season 2 will release online.
‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ is possibly one of the most successful and popular anime franchises lately.
Season 1 of Demon Slayer not only won the best Anime’ award in the 2019 Newtype Anime Awards but also the anime of the Year’ in the 2020 Crunchyroll Anime Awards.
Since then, the Demon Slayer film, Mugen Train, has broken hundreds of Box Office records in Japan and has even become the 4th highest-grossing film of 2020.

DEMON SLAYER SEASON 2 RELEASE DATE…
Demon Slayer season 2 will premiere in 2021 and whilst a specific release date has not been verified, the series is called to return in Fall or Winter 2021.
Throughout the demon Slayer Matsuri Online -Anime 2nd Anniversary Festival’ this weekend, it was confirmed that season 2 of the hit anime would reunite sooner or later in 2021.
This information came alongside several new graphics and a brand new teaser movie, but a more specific release date wasn’t revealed.
Based on the available information, a positive forecast for the launch date of Demon Slayer season 2 would be Fall 2021, however, a more realistic expectation would be for Winter 2021.
Interestingly, there were worries that season 2 was in danger due to Mugen Train’s achievement. As popular YouTuber’Kanjic’ discussed in a current movie, the unbelievable performance of the movie could influence the decision to generate another season — instead focusing on a series of movies to enlarge revenue.
DEMON SLAYER SEASON 2 PLOT…
The narrative for Demon Slayer season 2 is going to be a direct continuation of the Mugen Train movie, which picks up in the season 1 finale.
As the arcade is a direct adaptation of the original manga series, we could confidently predict the plot for season two.

DEMON SLAYER MOVIE…
The anime movie, titled demo Slayer: Infinity Train Arc’ premiered in Japan on October 16th, 2020.
Ever since then, the film has broken countless recordings, for instance, the highest-grossing movie of all time in Japan, the greatest opening day weekend in Japanese film history, and has been the 4th highest-grossing film of 2020.

Interestingly, there are also plans to launch a cellular game based on the anime and also a PS4 match in 2021.
It is unknown exactly what the premise for these games will probably be, but if the franchise is continuing the tell the story around each feature, anticipate some canon material to be introduced in-game.
