Phoebe Waller-Bridge remains hushed about the release of season 3.
Fleabag is a comedy-drama television series, based on a free-spirited, fun-loving women who uses sarcasm to cover the sexually active but angry and confused young woman. It is created by Phoebe Waller-Bridge and is also the protagonist of the show.
If a show wins awards and success usually it tries to keep it up. Here it is still a big confusion, and the big question is after all the overwhelming response will fleabag return with another season?
After two seasons at six episodes each, it might seem that Fleabag was just a little too short yet attaching.
The show received appreciation for the unique concept, story and the acting. It also was nominated in various awards and won many. Season 1 and 2 were a great treat to watch, and season 2 ended with Fleabag (played by the show’s creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge) tells the Priest (Andrew Scott), “I love you.” He heartbreakingly assures her, “It’ll pass.” Her play debuted in 2013 at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, then slowly made its way into the mainstream. Turning it into a series was a miracle trajectory considering Bridge just created the play on a dare from a friend.
Till date nothing is being said positive regarding the release of season 3 and When asked by the BBC about season 3, she declared, “I have thought about it and there isn’t going to be one. This is it—this is the final curtain.” She added, “And yes, I did say that last time.” So, there is still a big question mark to it.
The last episode of the season 2 was emotional yet beautifully ended that had the viewers craving more.
All the family drama, emotional attachment, heartbreaks and a face with a big smile that hides many things behind takes you on a roller-coaster ride. But the suspense still remains same as before because there’s still no official statement made regarding the season 3.
Sources says that the real reason for Waller-Bridge wanting to end Fleabag now is she’s currently writing a movie with plans to direct it herself. Only assumptions can be made regarding fleabag season 3.
