KTM 390 Adventure: The much anticipated Beast Awakens

The much-hyped and anticipated KTM 390 Duke has been currently spotted on multiple occasions while performing tests in Europe. The new model is set to launch to set at the 2019 Milan motor show (EICMA) in Milan, Italy. Rumors hint that the month following the event, the company is planning to launch the new bike in India at the India Bike Week which is scheduled on December 6th to 7th,2019. Leaks and reports suggest that the KTM 390 adventured will be power-packed accessories that are specially designed for this bike, including a top box, soft side panniers, aluminum bash plate and a radiator guard as well.

The body design type of the upcoming model is Adventure Tourer Bike supporting advanced body graphics. The chassis of the new model is carved from the steel trellis frame which is powder-coated. The console provided is fully digital and includes an odometer, tachometer, fuel indicator and Trip meter as well. Taking a glance at the exterior of the vehicle we spotted a spoked wheel type, including a tubeless tire, which is a must feature for any off-road bike. The bike features a new halogen headlamp with LED DRLs.

Strong leaks suggest that KTM 390 adventure will house the same engine as seen on 390 Duke. The engine will be 1-cylinder, four-stroke engine featuring an engine displacement of 373.2cc, producing an unmatched power of 43.5 Ps at a maximum of 9000 Rpm and producing a total torque of 37 Nm at 7000 Rpm at max. Mated with a manual six-speed gearbox to provide different speed profiles, the engine is also equipped with an automatic fuel injection system as well. The model will be launched only with a petrol variant. The braking includes a disc brake used on both front and rear featuring a dual-channel ABS(antilock braking system). Protecting the drivers from jerks, the front suspension is made from 43mm WP upside-down forks and a rear suspension supporting a WP mono-shockers. To ensure that you never run out of the fuel, the KTM 390 adventure is backed up by 13.4-litre fuel tank. The bike is expected to be priced at 3.00 lakhs (ex. showroom price).
