The Aprilia RSV4 RF is a limited edition and a more hard-core track version of RSV4 RR. As Aprilia RSV4 RR is an already launched model but the Aprilia RSV4 RF takes one step ahead.
The bike has same features as 999.6cc liquid-cooled V4 engine as RR. The RF is tuned to produce 115NM of torque and 198.2 bhp at 13,000 rpm at 10,500rpm. It also contains a six-speed gear system.
The Ohlins fork with Tin surface treatment handles all the suspension duties. It contains hydraulic compression and rebound damping at the front and Ohlins Racing mono-shock with piggy-back and also has adjustable spring preload. The bike also having wheelbase and hydraulic compression and rebound damping at the rear.
The braking system is taken care of by dual 320mm diameter floating stainless steel disc with light-weight stainless steel rotor and Brembo M430 monobloc calipers up front, along with the 220mm diameter rear disc with a two-piston Brembo caliper.
The bike contains an electronic engine management system, which further has three new engine mapping settings: S(Sport), T(Track)), and R(Race). The similar engine braking maps are new, and also with engine braking lessened at 6,000 rpm and even beyond.
The surprising thing is that it also offers Aprilia Traction Control(APC), Aprilia Wheelie Control(AWC), Aprilia launch control((ALC) and Aprilia Quick shift(AQS), and also Race ABS.
This limited-edition bike is only available in a single color scheme and locks horn with the Ducati Panigale R in India.
