Were you expecting to binge-watch Lucifer season 5 early this summer? Sad news, Lucifans! The wait is expected, as the episodes will not arrive in June 2020. When is our best choice for the new season?
Early into the COVID-19 outbreak, Netflix hit pause on the production of their articles for the security of everyone involved. Great work can’t rush, although the situation is improving, which means everything must resume normal shortly. And of course, security is still the priority.
However, who’d have imagined that Lucifer season 5 would be on hold for this long? Post-production work needs to be performed, and it won’t resume for a couple of more weeks. With the process approximately five to six months, taking total, new episodes of the hit Netflix series might not arrive till late in the summertime.
When the delay happened, our initial guess was that Lucifer season 5 could arrive early summer rather than the spring. Unfortunately, that won’t be the situation. Netflix has published the complete list of new shows and movies coming from June 20202, and Lucifer is nowhere there.
The only upgrade we have comes from co-showrunner Joe Henderson, but it’s from back in April 2020. Henderson shares he does not know when season 5 will probably drop on Netflix, but he hopes to have an answer shortly.
