Racing Point’s Sergio Perez disappointed with not defeating McLaren in Austrian GP.

The 2020 new restart is a surprise and brings more of it. We shall best say the Racing Point as the surprise package for this. This 2020 Austrian Grand Prix, we saw the pink team play fiddle with rival McLaren. And Sergio Perez plans to rectify this sight in the upcoming game. Perez went on till P3, which was fantastic. He was behind the legends Mercedes and, Racing Point’s Mercedes inspired RP 20. It also drew the eyebrows from the fans and hackles from rivals.

But, there were more successful events and bought McLaren more strong after Lando Norris places himself fourth on the grid. It was the career-best yet from him as well. There was also the same time lap as Sergio Perez from the Red Bull’s driver Alex Albon. But it was late in the session, and thus, he got the P5.

Perez knows that the McLaren shows their true pace late, this time it was Q3. And it is just a matter of small time gap as per practice with his team and others like McLaren, Renault and so on. Perez is quite okay with his performance n Q3. He is happy to have matched Albon’s time lap, but also sorry it came before him. He is hopeful of a good race the next day and hopes the better race pace be with him.
