An untitled sequel into Shazam! Is set for release on November 4, 2022. Shazam is a superhero film based on the DC character of the exact same name. It released on April 9, 2019. David F. Sandberg led it from a screenplay by Henry Gayden. New Line Cinema produced it, and Warner Bros. It was distributed by pictures. The plot follows. He receives those superpowers from an ancient wizard Shazam who selects him as his winner. His best buddy Freddy Freeman and billy must discover Billy’s new abilities to stop the evil Dr. Thaddeus Sivana and the Seven Deadly Sins.
After grossing $366 million 13, the film became a box office success. It was critically acclaimed performances delivered its own sense of humor and by the celebrities, for Sandberg’s leadership.
Star Zachary Levi, who plays the character, is very keen on working in the sequel. He said,”I believe a few of the coolest things about the movie Shazam! [is] it attracted people joy,” he explained. “It legitimately pleased people. If that’s all I do in this world, I will be so grateful and so stoked.”
The Seven Deadly Sins and dr Thaddeus Sivana get his family in the movie and defeated by Shazam. In the scene, we find Sivana in his cell. Here he meets with Mister Mind, a significant supervillain from the comics. He’s a highly intelligent caterpillar-like monster who owns his own Monster Society Of Evil of that Sivana is a member.
“Oh, what fun we are going to have together. The seven realms are all about to become ours,” he tells Sivana, possibly setting up the plot of the sequel. The”seven realms” refers to The Seven Magiclands that are joined to the Rock of Eternity from the comics. The sequel could revolve around the Shazam family exploring these realms. But this does not eliminate the chance that the Seven Deadly Sins may reunite. Though they are present in the Rock Of Eternity, Sivana seems pretty determined to get his hands on them.
Billy Batson has approved his location and requires assistance from friend Superman to prevent.
Shazam 2 Cast:
Well, let’s acknowledge it, Shazam! Won’t be Shazam with no Zachary Levi and Asher Angel as William’Billy’ Batson, so they’ll both reprise their roles.
Jovan Armand as Pedro Peña, Grace Fulton as Mary Bromfield, Ian Chen as Eugene Choi, jack Dylan Grazer as Freddy Freeman and Faithe Herman as Darla Dudley will come back as members of Billy family. They’ve all now got their superhero alter-egos as well with their adult superhero variations played by Adam Brody (Freddy), Michelle Borth (Mary), Ross Butler (Eugene), DJ Cotrona (Pedro) and Meagan Good (Darla).
Mark Strong will return as the villainous Dr. Thaddeus Sivana. Still, we do not know if Djimon Hounsou will come back as The Wizard Shazam after giving Billy his powers as he disintegrated.
Another question that fans have is whether we could finally see Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam. Safran had previously teased while talking to Digital Spy: “You could read it that way if you dug into it.”
But Zach Levi had denied these rumors.” I can state as far as I am aware, Black Adam isn’t going to be in the second Shazam! Since the notion is that they want to go and perform a standalone Black Adam movie.”

Is Shazam! a Comedy Film?
Critics have the greatest described the very first installment of this film as” a wisecracking great time, but the DC Comics movie plays with the rules and is much more of a comedy than a superhero movie.” It is not mainly a movie. It is a comedy about a superhero. Formulaic but fun.
