While we’ve seen Pattinson from the new bat-suit in the dark, a trio of set photographs and a video of”Batman” falling on his bike, reveal us a lot more of this outfit. While we love the bigger”ears” the ribbed armor looks a bit over-designed.

The Batman (2021) Cast
As the heartthrob is famous for portraying Edward A good deal of old-school Batman fans did not take the casting of Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman nicely. Pattinson will be directed at Matt Reeves (10 Cloverfield Lane, War for the Planet of the Apes).
However, to push back at this response, I’ll say I agree with Zack Sharf of IndieWire who explained how Pattinson’s profession proved he’s more than just the iconic function. For instance, Pattinson’s earning raves for starring at The Lighthouse, a highly-hyped black and white movie that co-stars Willem Dafoe, is directed by Robert Eggers (that the luminary behind The Witch) and comes from A24, a beloved indie distributor.
Regarding Batman’s potential villains, Zoë Kravitz (Mad Max: Fury Road) will co-star as Selina Kyle (aka Catwoman) among the first casting options that got rave reactions from most. Similarly, the public adored the information that Paul Dano (There Will Be Blood, Little Miss Sunshine) is signed on to depict Edward Nashton, The Riddler.
Jeffrey Wright (Westworld, Angels in America) will play with Bruce Wayne’s major ally, Commissioner Gordon.
The most recent rumors include Deadline Hollywood and The Wrap, which (respectively) float the chances that Colin Farrell is under consideration to play The Penguin and Andy Serkis may nab the role of Alfred Pennyworth.
- Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne | Batman
- Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle | Catwoman
- Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon
- Paul Dano as Edward Nashton | The Riddler
- Colin Farrell as The Penguin
- Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth
The Batman Movie Plot
Unlike the above-mentioned collection of this, the particulars of what they will be doing are clear. He’ll likely combat with The Riddler, and confront feeling about how to deal with Selina Kyle’s Catwoman, who steals his heart along with jewels.
Additionally, Robert Pattinson’s teased the potential for an awesome new Batsuit, saying”Matt [Reeves] has got a awesome idea about it… I think this thing is going to be very, very cool.”
The Batman (2021) DCEU: Is this related to The Joker or the Zack Snyder murder-verse?
The solution is an easy Nope. The Joker director Todd Phillips formerly said that character won’t appear in The Batman. Pattinson affirmed this detail in a meeting with Yahoo Entertainment.
We’re less sure about the latter. In the 2018 TCA Awards, manager Matt Reeves said, “There are ways in which all this connects to DC, to the DC universe as well. We are one piece of several bits so I do not need to comment on that except to say that I’m focused very specifically with this aspect of the DC world”
Which leaves us scratching our heads and awaiting June 2021.
