NBC’s The Blacklist will return with its season 8 as the network has renewed the series for the eighth time in a row. The black-list also had the audience hooked and aired first in 2013. The direction, cinematography, and cast have done a tremendous job in keeping the audience hooked now after so many years.
It’s quite evident that people love this show now as much as they did when it was initially released. Well, the huge question is will this show return for a season 8? The Blacklist Season 8 Release Date
Unlike web collection, television series tend to return after a few months. The part 2 of this season aired in April 2020. However, it triggered in October 2019. Except for the sixth installment which premiered in January, The Blacklist has ever returned in September (four times) or October (twice) from the USA.
So we guess we may be able to watch season 8 at the beginning of October 2020 September 2020, or overdue. However, since by now, most of us know productions are at a stop due to lockdowns we might observe a delay.
The lockdown also influenced the ending of this seventh installment as they had to make some changes so they could air the last episode. Looking at this we can already predict that the 8th installment will be delayed. We will have to wait for an announcement for season 8’s launch date.
The Blacklist Season 8 Cast
Well, we are anticipating the heartthrob James Spader to return as’Red’ Reddington. Together with that, we might see Megan Boone as Harry Lennix, Diego Klattenhoff, and Liz Keen as Harold Cooper and Donald Ressler. We don’t know if Katarina Rostova will come back in season 8 because she had been the villain in the previous installment. Can Laila Robins in the series of the Blacklist? We will need to wait to find out what is next for us.
The Blacklist Season 8 Plot
At this point, a storyline for the season hasn’t yet been revealed. We can figure out what the plot will be like in the next setup based on the previous installation. We know that season 7 episode 19 wasn’t supposed to be the finale of the season but somehow the founders made it function and gave a proper ending.
They included animated elements to bring a perfect ending. Despite all this and the modifications, they made they gave us a cliffhanger which currently has us wanting more and more. They do know how to keep us manage not to disappoint us even.
We found that Dom started gaining insight again, Brian Dennehy who performed last month the character of Dom passed away. We believe we’ll be visiting a much more animated version of Dom. Only time will tell.
Red and Liz finished on a term. Even when Red had done a lot for Liz only to find she turns him. She told Dom she is on her mum’s side today. We know Katarina was. This could mean more complications and some new twists on the way.
Whatever they do we can’t wait to see them back on screen. They gave the cliffhanger making us wanting more and more to us. Also, kudos to the creators for not allowing us and also making an animated part get frustrated despite that.
The Blacklist Season 8 Release Date
The trailer of the previous season was dropped only 1 month before the release of the installment. So, we will need to wait a long time to grab the promo. The shooting The Blacklist season 8 has not begun for it and Considering that the seventh installment ended is not out as of now. When the shooting starts, we may see some sneak peeks or they will release a trailer. We do not know they know how to keep us hooked.
