The Order Season 3: Netflix Hasn’t Announced Season 3 Of The Order Yet

Netflix’s horror-infused drama series The Order’s first season finished to a note. Following ten episodes of protagonist Jack (Jake Manley) discovering the secrets of the Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose and forging allegiances with the Knights of Saint Christopher, the show apparently hit the reset button in the season final minutes. After Jack managed to put a stop to his estranged father, Edward’s (Max Martini) intends to exploit a dangerous quantity of magical. He, along with all of his fellow Knights of Saint Christopher, had his memory wiped.

The series returned for its second season on June 18, 2020. The deus ex machina ending that some fans saw clunky proven to be the catalyst for a lot of plot developments in season two. Together with the main antagonist in the very first season magically sealed in a publication, season 2 took the series in some sudden new instructions, but something which stayed the same was its bombshell of an ending, which had us screaming when we saw that there wasn’t any next incident to which to bypass.

There were lots of queries in our minds. The one is whether we should expect to find a third season of the series.

Netflix hasn’t announced season 3 of The Order yet

There is no reason, although, at the time of writing, there hasn’t been an official statement from Netflix about whether or not we’ll be getting a third season of The Order. The series’s first season expired on March 7, 2019, along with the streaming agency didn’t announce it would be returning for season 2 until March 28 of that same year (through Deadline). We’d really like to have an answer about season 3 at this time, but at this stage of the game, no news is good news.

Even there is reason to be hopeful that there is a season going to happen. The Order, Dennis Heaton’s creator, talked about the possibility of another season of the show to TVInsider. In that interview, he’d acknowledge that receiving a renewal is a matter of the numbers, saying, “All fingers crossed that we get the viewers.” He did sound optimistic that he and his staff will have the opportunity to explore the entire world of Belgrave University.

There is also a lot of confidence on display at the conclusion of season 2. Far from wrapping up everything in the finale, the season ended with numerous doors left open for another installment.

The Order Season 3

Season 2 of The Order left us thinking that Jack will try to revive Alyssa

We can not speak about season 2 of The Order without getting into one of the most shocking events of this show so far: Alyssa’s (Sarah Grey) death. After spending the time mostly at odds with her former spouse Vera (Katharine Isabelle), Alyssa manages to strip the Grand Magus of her magical abilities. Before she can celebrate the defanging of her rival, nevertheless, Alyssa is brutally attacked by the werewolf Midnight.

The attack leaves a substantial chunk to Alyssa. Jack begs a dying Alyssa to return Vera’s magic so that Vera can save her life before she has the chance, but Alyssa dies. It’s a substantial curveball, and also a moment, as Alyssa was among the show’s central characters , particularly in the second season.

Ahead of the end of the episode, but the authors added a large fat question mark. The final shot we see before the credits roll is Jack is carrying the lifeless body of Alyssa to the woods. He is also carrying an extremely successful book of spells, something The Vade Marcum, presumably to attempt to revive her. Given how many impacts the use of magic has in this Order’s world, we can assume it’s not going to be as straightforward as mentioning several abracadabras.

We still need to see what Vera will do to get her magic back on The Order

Another question is what becomes of Vera that she has lost her magical. When Alyssa expired, the capability for her to reunite Vera’s powers expired with her. In this manner, Vera’s destiny is deeply tied to if Jack will be prosperous in their own apparent quest to revive Alyssa. The entire situation is a great illustration of how by weaving the fates of many characters into the results of a single 31, the show manages to raise the stakes.

Obviously, Vera has demonstrated before that she’s pretty good at getting her way. Over the course of the two seasons, we’ve seen how adept she is at utilizing her various skills that are magic to consolidate power, but without them, she’s very likely to still be a force to be reckoned with. As Heaton told TVInsider, “Understanding that personality and understanding how much pleasure it would be to utilize Katharine Isabelle, Vera’s going to do anything is necessary to get that magic again.”

And those are the two largest open-ended plotlines at the end of the season. With so many narrative threads, we’re waiting with bated breath for the second when The Order period three is finally announced by Netflix.
