The feeling is the same for all, from fans to every driver. All of them want to go back to tracks and Riccardo is no different. He too has the same itch. But he also reckons that the enforced break from F1 may also extend his career dates. He might be taking part in some more seasons. When the 30-year-old driver was asked about the 2020 delay season and its effect on drivers, he gave positive feedback. He says that the regular seasons meant then to go on and on. They were continuously in pressurized cabins and aeroplanes. They became a part of their normal life and they did what they had t do, make it a habit. But the 2020 delay season brought just a halt. It was a necessary forced stop for their bodies to come out of the regular plan and routine to take care of their bodies. Riccardo sees a positive sign, looking at the career perspective for him, as his performance might get a start again after the break.
Riccardo also went on to comment on this big decision, he is moving from Renault to McLaren. And he believes it to be a bit of weird because of the non-comparison of track records. But he says that though it is weird, the decision is not an overnight decision. And as the year weird, the same will be the decision taken.
