Ford Mustang is a must-have in everyone’s “favourite car list”. But this American muscle car is still out of reach in India. If you see one revving on some road, just remember the one behind the wheels must have waited for a long before getting one for their driveway. But we have great news related to this. Ford Mustang might launch in India, and I mean the newest one.
In mid-2016, Ford has sold an impressive 450 Mustangs in India. Its introduction in international markets has been so successful for Ford that it’s managed to sell more sportscars than Porsche in Europe, and that’s huge. Ford is anticipating, which Mustang would rock the most upon return.
The 2020 Mustang GT, which is a 480 hp beast, will make a return to India. Mustang car features a new chin with airflow-shaping vanes, the more sculpted bonnet gets a couple of rear-facing vents, there are new LED lights both at the front and the rear, and the boot has a more prominent kick-up for the spoiler.
The Mustang generates a horsy 480 hp from a 5.0L V8, it makes its maximum power at a lofty 7,000 rpm, with its redline at 7,500rpm. The Mustang will pair up the V8 with 10-speed automatic gearbox and a limited-slip differential. Also on offer are drive modes, paddle-shifters on the wheel, and large 352mm front discs that use four-piston callipers.
Expected to hit town at the end of December 2020 or early 2021, the new Mustang car 5.0 V8 is expected to come for Rs 75 lakh.
