As of today, most of us are still staying at home snacking on anything we have and watching series. Maybe one of those series is Netflix’s Outer Banks–seeing as it was released through the quarantine. I mean, the show does put a summer vibe that we are all missing right now out.
Even after a couple of accidents from the very first season, the show was fairly interesting and was worthy of a second season. However, it’s a little early for the streamer to discharge any information on renewals because the series did come out. The only thing is its massive following and viewer numbers that are skyrocketing.
The founders have already been writing everything for the second season if you are wanting a little bit of very good news. Co-creator Jonas Pate explained they were given the go signal to write the season BEFORE the first one was published on the platform.
We can look at Chase Stokes‘ post on his Instagram accounts wherein it states that the filming ended in October 2019 and of the first season began in April 2019 —-giving it before April 2020. Then we’re likely to expect it in 2021 if this situation applies to this next season. The coronavirus has halted all productions—-which makes us wonder when the season will be scheduled.
Even though Pate teased us with his writing of this second season, he stated that we’re like to anticipate that the storyline goes: “The Pogues believe John B. and Sarah are dead,” said Pate, “therefore we realized that gave us a few spectacular chances that we can research earlier we get them all reunited. We love that portion of the series, obtaining the Pogues together. That is when we feel as if this series is working the best.”
