‘Rick and Morty’ Season 4 might have ended, but we know that the series is far from over. As has been reported before, fans can be sure of at least a total of 60 episodes later on. At a ten-episode-per-season format, as is normal for its Dan Harmon-Justin Roiland animated humor, that would imply confirmation for seasons 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10.
Release date
While there was a substantial delay between season 3 and season 4 due to contract negotiations with Turner Broadcasting,’Rick and Morty’ fans are unlikely to have to wait too long for its fifth season.
Roiland told Slash Film in an interview that the upcoming period is”largely from the can”. Asked about a potential split-season as we watched for the fourth person, Roiland explained, “I think when they have the whole 10 episodes, they’ll release them without a split, but I frankly don’t have any idea.”
Roiland further explained, “I have been saying we ought to drop an event each month, simply make it a big event. If you do one a month, the series is alive the entire season and you’re still buying us all the time we need to create them as good as they have to become.”
No date for season 5 Morty and Rick have been announced yet.
Plot
