Altered Carbon is a sci-fi show, among the greatest on Netflix. It has aired two seasons till today. Is this cyberpunk drama returning for longer? Here is what we know.

WHAT COULD BE THE STORYLINE FOR THE NEXT SEASON?
Season 2 picked up ribbons from the two books in AC’s trilogy by Richard Morgan, Broken Furies, and Woken Angels. The series may continue to explore those.
The creators did not hesitate to play elements in the first two seasons. Consequently, they may keep on doing this in future episodes.
There were major questions left unanswered at the end of Season 2, so another outing is supposed to give clarity to people. The most important question after Season two is: what happened to Kovacs and his sister Reileen? This will most definitely be replied.
Poe’s relationship with Dig can be expected to play a much more prominent role.
“I feel as the conflict should continue. What I’d love to keep on investigating in year three, now that this job has been done in year two, what does it mean to have reckoned with these demons? Where does that get you and how does that shape the struggle which will come?”

Anthony Mackie might not come back if the writers follow the routine of re-sleeving each season. However, there might be flashbacks where Mackie appears. The actor told The Hollywood Reporter he’s not ready to bid farewell to his function just yet. “I hope I get the chance to bring Kovacs back again next season. I am not ready [to leave the series ],” he said.
WHEN IS ALTERED CARBON: SEASON 3 COMING?
Season 2 of the show aired on February 27th, 2020, nearly two years after the first year.
There is not any word on the renewal of this show. However, if it is returning, we can simply anticipate it by 2022. Do we get the wait is long, but was it not well worth it the previous time? Needless to say, it was!
