New BS-6 Kawasaki Ninja 650 launched, pricing starts at Rs 6.24 lakh, pre-booking now opens

Kawasaki launched the BS-6 Compliant 2020 Ninja 650 in the Indian market. It costs Rs 6.24 lakh. The BS-6 Kawasaki Ninja 650 costs 35 thousand rupees more than the old model. The special thing is that the company has launched the updated bike at a lower price than the price indicated earlier. Let us know that within a few days of booking starts at the dealership, the updated bike has been launched in the market.

The new Ninja 650 has a 649 cc parallel-twin engine with the old model, which is now BS-6 compliant. Revised exhaust and air box are provided with the updated engine. Engine power is the same as before, but torque is slightly reduced. The engine of BS-6 Ninja 650 generates 68 PS power and 64 Nm torque. The engine torque in the BS-4 version was 65.7 Nm. The engine is equipped with a 6-speed transmission with a slipper clutch. The updated bike weighs 196 kg as before.

Sharper look than before

The updated Ninja 650’s front look is different from the older model. The redesigned front end of the bike is similar to the recently launched company’s Ninja 400, ZX-6R and Versys 1000 bikes. The new twin-LED headlights have been given at the front along with the longer nose. The windshield and side fairing of the bike have also changed slightly, making the Ninja 650 now look sharper than before. The rear design of the BS-6 Ninja 650 has also undergone some changes, including a wider pylon seat and revised taillight.

Features

The updated Ninja 650 features Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tires. The bike has a 4.3-inch full-TFT instrument console, which features Bluetooth, GPS log, and smartphone connectivity. The new bike is available in two color options.
