The Last Kingdom season 4 was a massive hit once the season was inserted to Netflix in April 2020. Now, fans are already awaiting The Last Kingdom season 5 release date on Netflix.
The Last Kingdom has not been revived for season 5, but we are pretty confident the series will be revived at the streaming community. It’s so hot, and this show is so great, and there’s much more to the narrative. It assesses all boxes Netflix is searching for in a series!
Additionally, there are no other shows like it at this time on TV. That is a plus!
Below we shared The Last Kingdom season 5 release date, cast, trailer, synopsis, and much more.
The Last Kingdom season 5 release date on Netflix
Assuming The Last Kingdom season 5 is occurring, it’s likely going to be a while until The Last Kingdom season 5 release date on Netflix.
Consistently, we’ve seen about 18 weeks between each season of The Last Kingdom so far. The next season premiered in November 2018 on Netflix, along with the fourth season was not added until April 2020 to the agency.
Thus, we have to imagine it’s going to be at least a season and a half before we see The Last Kingdom season 5 on Netflix. If that’s that case, The Last Kingdom season 5 release date on Netflix will be in the fall of 2021.
We all know that is a long time however, there are many moving parts from the show with locations, all the battle sequences, and all that. It makes sense we have to wait for quite a while between seasons.
There is a lot of uncertainty surrounding the coming seasons of new shows due to the pandemic that is a coronavirus. We don’t know in case the waits persist for quite a while, that could affect the season’s launch date, although when manufacturing will start on displays.
Stay tuned for more information!

The Last Kingdom season 5 trailer
Netflix hasn’t shared any footage from season 5 or with the trailer yet. Once production starts, we’ll probably start to see a few videos in the cast and crew, and whilst waiting for the trailer, we’ll try to share those in this area.
Regrettably, we will not see The Last Kingdom season 5 trailer until approximately a month or 2 before the season is published.
The Kingdom synopsis
Netflix hasn’t shared with the synopsis for its season and like the trailer, so we will not see that for quite a while.
With that said, it’s pretty clear which leadership season 5 is moving. Following the events of season 4, Brida wants revenge on Uhtred, and it seems she will stop at nothing to accomplish that. Brida will probably be concerned, although what that means for season 5 people do not know exactly.
Together with that, his daughter’s leave has been witnessed by Uhtred for Eoferwic with Sigtryggr. We are aware that the narrative will last in season 5. And, we watched Uhtred lose out on adore this season as he was betrayed by Aethelflaed. Can their love reestablish down the line, or is this the end?
There’s the basis for a strong alliance in season 5. Just how long that’ll last, we can’t say.
And, do not overlook Aethelhelm. He is the largest threat to Edward’s reign right now.
